About Savin Juniper
A tough spreading juniper for hot dry banks, and the tamarix forms are the ones usually sold. The foliage is genuinely toxic and has a sharp unpleasant smell when crushed. Like all junipers it will not resprout from bare old wood, so never cut back hard.
