Is Showy Goldeneye deer resistant?

Hundreds of small yellow daisies on thin, heavily branched stems, carried from July through to the first hard frosts.

It is available only from seed and it reseeds aggressively, so the plant you put in is not the planting you have three years later, and in fed, watered ground those seedlings come up soft and lean on whatever is beside them. Lean, sharply drained soil keeps the stems stiff and the numbers down.

Site it where seeding is welcome — a gravel garden, a dry bank, the rough ground along a drive — and it holds up for three months. Cut the stems down before the seed heads dry; that is the only control that actually works.
