About Red-Hot Poker
Torch-shaped spikes opening from the bottom up, so each one shows two colours at once. Winter wet in the crown is what kills it, so plant on a slope or in gritty soil and tie the leaves up over the crown in cold wet regions. Hummingbirds work it hard.
