About Comfrey

Deep roots mine minerals from well below the reach of most plants, which is why the leaves are cut for compost activator and liquid feed. That same taproot makes it effectively permanent: any fragment left in the ground regrows. Plant the sterile Bocking 14 cultivar rather than the seeding species.

Protecting Comfrey

Whether this survives comes down to local pressure, so decide on the options before it gets browsed rather than after.
